From all the team at Rubicon we’d like to thank you for all your support in 2016 and wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
2016 has been the year of change, and at Rubicon it’s been no exception although in a much smaller and I’d like to think more controlled way!
To help us achieve our mission of attracting and keeping the best team we moved our office to ensure we can pro-actively monitor and support you in the way we’d like you to be supported. We also invested in and completed our migration to a market leading cross-platform management platform.
We listened to you and launched a 24/7 service desk support option, so we’re always here to help, and we created RubiconCloud Voice – a market-leading hosted telephony system offering the value, flexibility and collaboration you’d expect and (of course) it’s fully Mac & PC compatible.
We’ve been appointed the highest level of Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP), which means we can advise you and bill you for Microsoft licenses and Azure services monthly. And, just last week, we partnered with GB Labs as a select partner for FASTNAS, a turnkey shared storage solution designed exclusively for creative workflows like yours.
2017 will continue to see the adoption of cloud-based services and applications increase; cloud backup being one of the most discussed services and topics of conversations with you this year. Solutions like Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Drive, DropBox, OneDrive, etc. are almost universally accepted and have fundamentally changed the way you expect to interact with and access your company data and information.
Despite these platforms providing a fantastic level of security, you are ultimately responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your data in the cloud. Simply put, cloud-based services and applications present the biggest benefits and challenges your business may face and that your traditional IT systems and controls may not be ready for.
To ensure we are ready for this challenge, we teamed up with leading partners such as Microsoft and Centrify, rolled up our sleeves and embraced change. With 100% of our data, services and communications platforms either running or being hosted in the cloud we’ve welcomed the challenge and hope you’re seeing the benefits as a result.
We’re ready and here to help you do the same.
