Google Calendar for web receives a much-welcomed update.
As of 17 October 2017, Google made the new material design interface available for all Google calendar web users.
The update brings the app in line with its mobile app equivalent and includes great new features, such as improved room resource information, rich event descriptions, a side-by-side view and much more. A full list of the additional features can be found here.
For G Suite Basic, Business and Enterprise users, Google is offering two roll-out options to choose from:
Automatic – the default option. Starting 14 November 2017 for Rapid Release domains and 28 November 2017 for Scheduled Release domains, Google will gradually transition you to the new UI.
Manual – You can manually control when to move your users to the new UI in the Google Admin console. There are several options available.
